Hathaway Brings Chic Out At The 2012 Women’s Media Awards

We have to hand it down to Anne Hathaway for evolving her fashion and style through the years as gracefully as possible. From a teenager in 2001 when she starred in the ever-famous The Princess Diaries, she has shown how to elegantly style oneself as they age.

Take a look at her chic, lady-like attire as she hosted the 2012 Women’s Media Awards held in New York mid-November.

In a solid black color, the figure-hugging dress flaunts Hathaway’s slender figure, the result of a recent 25lb weight loss for the movie Les Miserables. In keeping with the entire well-groomed, finished look of her outfit, the length of the dress was a modest three-quarter, covering the skin on her legs to keep it as decent as possible.

And yet, with the double straps at the shoulder and the squared neckline, there was just enough on display to save the look from being too matronly. What we loved about the dress was its oh-so-perfect fit that must have made many ladies jealous to look at Hathaway’s miniature waist.

The look was complemented with simple black pumps, and spectacular eye make-up with long, heavy lashes and lightly-tinted rosy lips. With her million-dollar smile and the innocence on her face that never seems to fade, her pixie haircut with the side-swept bangs just made her look too pretty for the event!

In case you’ve missed, there’s also a unique pop of red on her nails, with the exception of her ring fingers which have been painted white. That right there’s what we call a blend of classic and trendy!

Now now, don’t we all wish we could carry styles and fashion like Hathaway?
