First Asian Woman On The Cover of Vogue Italia
Looks like somebody is making grand New Year resolutions and keeping them too, Vogue Italia starts off 2013 with a bang: Fei Fei Sun graces the cover page of Vogue’s January issue, becoming the first Asian woman to feature on the cover alone. Fei Fei Sun, 23 is a Chinese supermodel who has worked with previously with designers and brands like Miu Miu, Calvin Klien, DKNY, Diesel and Valentino. She is known for her amazing walk, chiseled cheekbones and eyebrows.
We are absolutely thrilled with the results, thanks to the stunning photography by Steven Miesel, great styling by Lori Goldstein and perfect contouring by Pat McGrath. (You can see I’m full of superlatives today!)
Sun looks absolutely stunning with her coiffed hair, dramatic winged eyeliner, rose lips and those beautiful, to die for eyebrows. This retro inspired look and styling, complete with elegant coifs and beehives is evocative of the wonderful 50’s fusion icon China Machado. Lori Goldstein has chosen select designer pieces from Chanel, Louis Vitton, Valentino, Gucci, Calvin Klein, Armani, and Miu Miu for this fashion editorial.
Go grab up this month’s edition before it vanishes from the newsstands and treat your eyes to a wonderful fusion of fashion, art and beauty.
